Alternative Pop and Rock band Broadside have announced their upcoming album Hotel Bleu. The news comes with new single and music video “Lucid” featuring Devin Papadol (Honey Revenge). Hotel Bleu is set to be released on November 10th, 2023 via SharpTone Records.
The band shares:
Hotel Bleu is the natural progression from our previous records. We’ve grown as men and as friends. We really focused on the live experience for some of these tracks whereas some might be better heard off alone somewhere. It’s a true record, thorough, the full experience. We are and have always been ready to be someone’s next favorite band.
Regarding the track “Lucid”, Oliver Baxxter comments:
It’s about escaping. Maybe you’re getting away from a breakup or thinking of someone who passed. The idea is, ‘The only place I’ll see you is in a lucid dream, because you’re not around’.
Broadside will be on tour this fall with This Wild Life, Worry Club, and Not My Weekend. Tour Story kicks off on November 1st, 2023 with stops in Los Angeles, Portland, Chicago, Pittsburgh, New York, Orlando, and more.

The name of the new album has a concept behind it, following the premise that “When you check into a hotel, you immediately step into another mindset. It may not be home, but you can still rest, nonetheless. Without knowing what happened before or what will go down after, you add to the history of each room. In the morning, you leave and essentially return to reality.” Broadside explore this phenomenon on their fourth full-length album, Hotel Bleu.
