Modern Blues band GA-20 is back with a new 45 featuring an eclectic mix of covers that might surprise some fans.
Matt Stubbs, guitarist, says:
As much as we love traditional blues music, we also have a soft spot for traditional country and songs that tell a story. These are two great storytelling songs.
Bridging the gap between Blues and Country, GA-20 offer a “swampy and bluesy take” on Dolly Parton’s “Jolene“, as well as a western-inspired cover of “Still as The Night” featuring Andie Belle on vocals.
“Still as The Night” is out now as the flip-side of a 45 that will include “Jolene”, out September 8th, 2023 from Colemine Records.
