Jr. Thomas & Cutlass Cream have teamed up for their first single together, “Reflections” which speaks of loneliness from the depths of love. With “Reflections,” Thomas pivots away from the Jamaican inspired songs he recorded with Jr. Thomas & The Volcanos (Truth & Soul Records/Colemine Records) and collaborates with old friend Albert Perez Jr. from Minneapolis. A vinyl 45 of “Refections” will also be released on August 11th, 2023.

Jr. Thomas comments:

We had a true bond when it came to writing thought-provoking songs that faced our truths directly in the eye. We were completely exposed with one another without compromise during these songwriting sessions.

The project was recorded by Scott Abels and “Jr.” Thomas McDowall and mixed by Eraserhood Sound. The project features players Ray Jacildo on keys, Scott Abels on percussion/vibes, Zac Pike on guitar, Melvin ‘Spoon-E‘ Brannon on bass, Albert Perez Jr. on guitar and Jr. Thomas on vocals & guitar.
