New York Metallic Hardcore band Confusion have released Storm The Walls: 1990-1994 via DAZE and Generation Records. The compilation is the complete recorded discography of the band, remastered by Mark Dann. Included is the 1990 Four the Force demo, the 1991 Distorted Vision demo, the 1992 Taste of Hate EP, and “Storm the Walls.”
The packaging features liner notes from members of Indecision, All Out War, Starkweather, Next Step Up, Darkside NYC and more. Combining aspects of Obituary and Deicide with elements of Biohazard and Breakdown, Confusion is often credited for creating the origin of the “deathcore” sound.
The record is available digitally now, and for vinyl preorder though DAZE (exclusive color) and Generation Records.
Originally calling it quits in 1994, the band reunited in January 2003 for a benefit show at CBGB’s and will take the stage once again this Fall. Confusion will perform in Brooklyn, NY at a DAZE hosted showcase at The Brooklyn Monarch taking place 9/30 + 10/1, and tickets are on sale here.
