Cooly G. Remixes Badlands Track “Bury You Whole”

Hyperdub artist Cooly G is the next to join the Badlands remix project, where Catharina Jaunviksna has asked friends and like minded artists to take a track each off her latest album, Call To Love, and remix it. The project is a journey through Kraut, Hip-Hop, Electronica, Dub, Psychedelia, House and Italo. Cooly G’s remix of “Bury You Whole” is the fourth in the series, following Art Feynman, Odd Nosdam, and Jape.

Badlands explains:

This remix project is my lofi hommage, a way of bringing some of my favorite self-made producers together in a bouquet of Badlands interpretations…I’ve purposely asked people with widely different and distinct sounds. People that inspire me. I was an early Hyperdub fan, and discovered Cooly G when “Wait til night came out” in 2014. Even though we’ve developed in very different directions since, I still feel a strong connection to her music.

The remixes from Call To Love will keep arriving and will be gathered in a compilation later this year.
