Hailing from Nashville, TN, Lockstep create a sonic output that pulls from Post-Rock, Shoegaze, Doom, and Noise Rock. The band have shared their new single and video Weave with lyrics “focused on shifting a negative mindset.”

“Weave” stems from the band’s upcoming EP, Arrival, set for release on May 19th, 2023. The EP was self-produced and recorded by the band with guitarist Matt Schumacher taking the lead on tracking and mixing, and mastering was done by Zac Montez (Cloakroom, Keep). Arrival marks Lockstep’s first proper release, following their two song debut, Lockstep 1, released in April 2021.

Lockstep is comprised of Austin Rolison (Drums and Vocals), Matt Schumacher (Guitar and Vocals), and Tanner Ihrie (bass).
