Rock Songs is the Psych Rock project Terry Ohms‘ 13th and newest LP that will arrive on June 2nd, 2023. Terry Ohms is the moniker of Wes McDonald, who has been making albums for 20 years. In that time he has made a lot of music, from fronting The Ohms, then Vulture Whale, and presently playing drums for The Blips and People Years.
Finding the freedom of being a 100% purely solo project, McDonald plays the instruments, sings, records, mixes, and makes the cover art and the videos himself. Most of the time that involves Rock songs, but this new album draws a firm line under that. New single “Didn’t Think You Had It” is out now.
At its core, Rock Songs is still one guy doing all the stuff you need to do to make an Indie Rock record as McDonald continues to discover and evolve his own sound.
