Joy Buzzer’s Power Pop Track “Judy Judy Judy” Marks Their Wicked Cool Records Debut

New York City’s Power Pop outfit Joy Buzzer has released their first single from Wicked Cool Records, “Judy Judy Judy”. The track is currently the “Coolest Song” on the Underground Garage. Founded in 2021, they cite inspiration from bands such as Fountains of Wayne, XTC, Squeeze, Todd Rundgren and Badfinger.

Composed of members of The Lord Calverts and the Doppel Gang, the band is led by songwriter/guitarist Jed Becker (also known for his work as composer and music director for the Nick Jr. series’ “Dora the Explorer” and “Go, Diego, Go!” among many others) with Kevin Lydon on lead vocals, Christopher Peifer on bass, and Mark Brotter on drums.
