Richard X. Heyman Pays Tribute To A Local Landmark With “Washington Rock”

Power Pop pioneer Richard X. Heyman has released his album latest album, 67,000 Miles An Album, on CD, digital download, and via streaming services via Turn-Up Records. He’s recently revealed the single from the album, “Washington Rock”, along with a video that pays homage to the historical landmark near where he grew up in New Jersey.

The new album is a collection composed of some brand-new songs mixed with some songs from a few years back, produced by Heyman, and recorded at his home Kit Factory studio with drums recorded at Eastside Sound in NYC. The earlier compositions were written for The Doughboys, but are here given a fresh take with Heyman’s own sensibilities at play.
