The nationally televised broadcast of Mike Campbell & The Dirty Knobsconcert filmed at Brooklyn Bowl in Brooklyn, NY will begin airing beginning on October 29th, 2022 as part of the PBS music series Front and Center’s eleventh season.

The set features songs from Campbell’s long career but also introduces songs with Campbell’s current band, including “Wicked Mind” and “Wreckless Abandon” plus “Refugee,” “You Got Lucky” and “Runnin’ Down a Dream” from his days with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. Fans can also watch the show on the Front and Center YouTube channel beginning this Saturday, October 29 at 12AM ET.

External Combustion is the latest album from Mike Campbell & The Dirty Knobs, released earlier this year via BMG following up on their 2020 debut album, Wreckless Abandon

The band are currently touring arenas in the United States with The Who and will open for the British band at the Hollywood Bowl on November 1st, 2022 where Campbell will perform for the first time since the last Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers concert at the same venue just over five years ago.
