Progressive Death Metal outfit Revocation have just released their eighth full-length, Netherheaven, via Metal Blade Records. The single and video for the new single “Nihilistic Violence” has also been revealed in celebration. The video was directed by David Brodsky. As for the album, the band intended to “meticulously explore the allegorical and literal aspects of Hell” for these new songs.

Revocation songwriter/front-man Dave Davidson comments:

‘Nihilistic Violence’ is probably the meanest song we’ve ever recorded. It’s got a dark and menacing quality to it that the MyGoodEye production team perfectly captured for our latest music video. Bring your hardhats to the pit for this one because shit’s gonna get rowdy.

Revocation has hit the road for a North American headlining tour with Krisiun, Alluvial, and Inoculation as support, before heading to Europe for another headliner in early 2023, this time featuring special guests Goatwhore, Alluvial, and Creeping Death.
