Polish Pop Punk and Skate Punk band CF98 have played numerous festivals like Punk Rock Holiday, and are gearing up to release their new album This Is Fine on September 2nd, 2022, via SBÄM Records. Ahead of that, they have revealed a video for the single “Plot Twist”. The female-fronted band aims to bring a “positive attitude and friendship” wherever they go.
CF98 was founded in 2003 in Kraków, Poland and have released five full length albums and 2 EPs. Their latest release was the EP Dead Inside in 2020. For the first time, CF98 produced their songs alongside Ishay Berger, the guitarist of Useless ID.
Throughout 2021, they worked on new music, producing again with Ishay, and recorded the new album at one of the greatest Polish rock studios, Heinrich House Studio.
The band’s name, CF98, stands for Californium, which is a radioactive chemical element with the symbol Cf and atomic number 98 that “can be used to start up nuclear reactors”.
