Indie-Rock singer/songwriter Seth Swirsky, who’s also a founding member of the retro-Pop band The Red Button, has released a music video for his single, “Rose Avenue,” taken from his fourth solo album, Songs From The Green Couch, out now via Lolipop Records.
Speaking on the single and his new music video, Seth writes:
I was sitting at an outdoor cafe on Rose Avenue in Venice Beach. Gorgeous California day, pretty girls walking by, the beach in the near distance. I closed my eyes and listened to the vivid conversations happening around me and the line ‘I can hear the sound of love’ came to me. People connecting, enjoying the day, loving life! I went home and wrote ‘Rose Avenue.’
Seth Swirsky is a man of many talents, having written songs for Taylor Dayne (“Tell it to My Heart”), Tina Turner, Celine Dion, Air Supply, Smokey Robinson, Michael McDonald, Olivia Newton-John, and others, and having also written books on subjects ranging from baseball to self-help. Additionally, he’s the mind behind the documentary Beatles Stories, and an abstract expressionist painter.
