Austin, Texas-based quintet Shane Smith & The Saints has released new single, “Hummingbird.” The song is the first new music from the band in four years after focusing on live shows and touring. Their sound blends key elements of Texas Country, Americana and Southern Rock with four-part harmonies.
Shane Smith comments on “Hummingbird”:
This song, for me personally, takes a step back in time to some of the older, classic music I grew up listening to, anytime I was riding around with my dad. It’s a love song at its core, but it covers some heavier subject matter around anxiety and depression that I think a lot of folks can relate to these days. My hope is that it can have some kind of positive impact on any listeners dealing with those issues.
Shane Smith & The Saints are Shane Smith (vocals/guitar), Bennett Brown (fiddle), Dustin Schaefer (lead guitar), Chase Satterwhite (bass), and Zach Stover (drums).
