Singer-songwriter Susie Suh has revealed the music video for “Invisible Love,” the title track for her latest album, which will receive a special vinyl release on May 27th. The track is described as “an anthem of self-love”, and the video that’s been released for the song portrays the “different versions of the divine feminine in a journey of self-empowerment”.
After making many journeys around the world to sacred sites herself, Suh comments on the video:
I wanted to take people with me to these sacred and majestic sites around the world to show them the beauty of Mother Nature and also connect them to the energy there.
Suh will be hosting a special, one-night event in Los Angeles at St. John’s Episcopal Cathedral on May 17th, featuring a musical performance and immersive wellness experience. The Invisible Love Experience will include a musical performance with a classical string trio, a sound healing ceremony, and essential oil therapy, while lying or sitting on yoga mats. This will be followed by a meet-and-greet and refreshments.
You may have come across Suh’s single “Here With Me” on the first season of The Blacklist. Many of the atmospheric songs on her second album, The Bakman Tapes, appeared in film and television, such as Parenthood, Awkward, Containment, and more. Her third full-length release, Invisible Love, represents personal exploration:
This album chronicles an inner journey that I’ve been on—a pilgrimage of sorts—to find healing from within. Music is a powerful tool, and songs can help one get in touch with their own emotions and truth. I wanted to incorporate into my music some more alternative and intentional elements that have helped me on my journey.
