Harry Katz and the Pistachios have been playing a Residency at The Silver Lake Lounge in LA, and it looks to have been a wild time from glimpses of photos and videos throughout. On the eve of their final Residency performance, they have also surprise released new single “No Sir” off their upcoming album (expected this summer) as well as a video to accompany it. They describe it as “a song of defiance, a chant in the history of resistance”.

This track, as well as their previous single “Oh Yes” and their upcoming album were recorded at Moosecat Studios in LA.

They say about “No Sir”:

Following up from the cult success of OH YES!  Harry Katz and the Pistachios touch on the flip side of the coin with their defiant second single NO SIR.  No sir, clocking in at under 2 minutes, hints at Harry’s rough relationship with authority, and his history in punk bands.  Still with that rock and roll feeling, still with that big sound out of Moosecat Recordings, what you lose in length you make up for in power. Make no mistake, it’s still all Pistachios, all the way down.

We recently chatted with Harry Katz about “Oh Yes” and their upcoming album. You can still check out that interview right here.
