Copenhagen, Denmark-based four-piece band Whistler have released new single “6G Fever” via Post Present Medium. It’s the first in a handful of planned 2022 releases from Whistler on PPM. The band was formed in 2019 by members of Marching Church, Lower, Arakk and more.
Whistler question their own musical identity. Is this “Non radio radio music? Anarcho Pop? Pop Rock wall?” The new song comments on this question and presents:
…the sort of drowsy, numbing of catastrophic reality and thinking that we’re pretty immersed in whether we realize it or not. The soft cruelty of a world cloaked in a pseudo benign attention span disorder. Open, mystic, breathing out and spilling into the ether of 6G Fever.
Whistler consists of Ditte Gyldendal Amby (bass), Louis Scherfig (guitars and vocals), Anton Rothstein (drums and percussion), and Pynte (Guitars).
