“Queen of My Heart”, out now, is the final single and focus track for the new album from Parlor Greens, titled Emeralds. The album arrives April 10th, 2026. The heavy, somber, and soulful tune was written by Jimmy James as a dedication to his dear mother and features the organ.
Jimmy James reflects on the inspiration for the song:
My mom is and always will be my rock of Gibraltar, I came from her. She taught me many lessons in life, as well as character and integrity, and she didn’t only just mother me, but anyone she came across. I miss her with every fiber of my being, and she will always be the queen of my heart.
Their upcoming album, Emeralds, finds the trio serving up a “sampler of what funky organ music can be.” The band consists of Tim Carman (Canyon Lights, and formerly of GA-20) on drums, Jimmy James (True Loves, and formerly of Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio) on guitar, and Adam Scone (Scone Cash Players, The Sugarman 3) on organ.

The first time these three met in Loveland at Colemine’s Portage Lounge studio for their debut album was marked by a certain freshness. However, the session for their second album Emeralds was a heavier affair. All three were dealing with personal tragedies in their individual lives, but “the session truly served as a genuine moment of joy for the group.” “Queen Of My Heart” represents that heaviness, a tune Jimmy wrote for his mother shortly after she passed away.
