UK-based Power-Pop artist Marc Valentine has returned with new single “High In The Underground,” the latest preview of his forthcoming album, Uncommon Side Effects, arriving April 10, 2026, via Wicked Cool Records.

“High In The Underground” reflects on and “captures the thrill and chaos of chasing rock ’n’ roll dreams.”

Valentine says of the song:

It’s one of my favourite tracks from the new album. I wanted to write a song that sounded like it might have been a Lou Reed and Joan Jett collaboration. It’s about the misadventures of youth and chasing rock ’n’ roll dreams.

Based in the UK, Valentine has spent the last two years touring across the U.S. and Europe. The upcoming album, Uncommon Side Effects is a record “shaped by life on the road, late-night inspiration”, and Valentine’s love of a “timeless rock ’n’ roll attitude.”
