Post-Metal band Unverkalt have recently released their third album, and their first with Season of Mist, titled Héréditaire. The single and video for “I, The Deceit”, featuring Rotting Christ’s frontman Sakis Tolis, has also been revealed. The song serves as the “emotional pillar” of Héréditaire, an album which looks at the weight we carry from the past.

Sakis Tolis says about the album and track:

Unverkalt vocalist Dimitra Kalavrezou says of the track:

This song carries the weight of human indifference toward the destruction we wreck upon the world. That cruelty unfolds not as a distant tragedy, but as something intimate, almost ordinary.
