Progressive Technical Death Metal band Beyond Creation will soon be embarking on their fifteenth anniversary tour in celebration of The Aura. Along with that, they have released their first new song in eight years, titled “Reverence”, accompanied by a video.
The video for “Reverence” was directed and produced by Francois Bertrand and Simon Girard.
Beyond Creation’s vocalist, guitarist and lyricist Simon Girard says:
Our new single explores the fragile line between clarity and illusion, between introspection and insanity, where the search for meaning can either elevate us or consume us. But the truth is simple and powerful: the moment you stop comparing and start focusing on who you truly are and what you genuinely want to express, something beautiful happens. You create from a place of honesty. You grow with purpose. What you achieve becomes something you can be proud of, because it is unique, real and entirely your own.
Girard continues on the song’s themes:
With social media, we are constantly measuring ourselves against others. The more we compare, the further we drift from our true selves and our authentic voice. We are lost amidst stress and insecurity. We feel that our ideas lack value, that our techniques are insufficient and our identity is somehow flawed.

Girard concludes:
Once we stop with the comparisons, we free ourselves to grow. We flourish in ways we never thought possible.
