LA Rock artist Kit Major has announced a new EP, Miss Ego, due for release June 12th, 2026, via Futureless. Known for her Grunge-Punk experimentation, Major has created an EP that “explores identity, femininity, and how much space a woman is allowed to take onstage, in relationships, in the rock scene and in the world.” Sonically and visually, Miss Ego mirrors a high-energy Kit Major live show.
To preview the EP, Kit Major has released the single “Not As Witty As I Used To Be”.
Of the track Major explains:
‘Not As Witty As I Used To Be’ is a mouthful, but a song this short needs length somewhere. It’s playful and a little unhinged. I’d rather spill my secrets shouting over guitars than in silence.

The music video marks Kit Major’s directorial and editing debut, with the band styled with special help from North Hollywood outfit Yes Baby! Vintage.
