Devil’s Cut Are Ready To Release Their Country-Laced Metal Debut Album ‘Roadkill’

Kentucky band Devil’s Cut blend Country and Metal music and have announced their 2026 debut album, Roadkill, arriving on April 24th, 2026, via MNRK Heavy. The album’s first single and album opener, “Drink With The Devil,” is out now on all digital outlets, and a video for the song can be seen now on the band’s official YouTube page.

Devil’s Cut’s Country-Metal mélange began with a 2018 conversation with their manager Cody Ash, drummer for Jelly Roll. Fellow Kentuckian Ash was convinced that merging the genres was the future and together they set about “marrying their twin musical passions without compromising either.”

Since then they’ve been releasing singles and touring with Country/Metal chanteuse Royale Lynn, and metalcore band Attila, and appearances at festivals like Aftershock, Welcome To Rockville, and Louder Than Life.

Devil’s Cut frontman Trey Landrum says:

We grew up on Tim McGraw and Garth Brooks, but we love Metallica and Pantera. We’re metal with hints of country, but we’re doing it differently; fucking with it and making it our own.

Devil’s Cut relocated to Nashville for a month and collaborating with experienced co-writers such as Cody Quistad (Pop Evil, A Day To Remember), Serg Sanchez (Morgan Wallen, Bailey Zimmerman), Kile Odell (Nothing More, Cory Marks), and Jordan Centers (Trey Lewis, Josey Scott) to create Roadkill.

Produced by Evan McKeever (Miranda Lambert, Starset), it delivers anthems and laments with hints of lap steel, mandolin, and banjo blended in.

Every album track will have its own video and Devil’s Cut will be spending much of 2026 on the road, including a tour with kindred spirits Alborn.
