Polyvinyl Undertakes A Full Vinyl Reissue Program For Hey Mercedes Arriving In March

Hey Mercedes have announced The Reissues via Polyvinyl Record Co., which will include Everynight Fire Works, the band’s 2001 full-length debut, paired with Weekend EP.

The rest of the releases include Loses Control, their 2003 sophomore follow-up, and for the first time ever, Hey Mercedes /Unorchestrated, which combines the band’s first EP (2000; Polyvinyl) and final EP (2005; Grand Theft Autumn) onto one LP.

Combined, these 3 vinyl releases encompass the band’s entire recorded output, all newly remastered for vinyl by Chicago Mastering Service, out March 27, 2026.

And, as a follow up, for the first time on DSPs, fans can now stream the band’s Unorchestrated EP.

Hey Mercedes, formed from members of Chicago’s emo band Braid, included Bob Nanna, Todd Bell, Mark Dawursk, and Damon Atkinson.

The band will be touring in 2026, starting this spring with four dates in Japan, followed by a summer trek to the UK for a very special run alongside Braid.
