Atmospheric Hard Rock band Blackwater Holylight joined the Southern California Rock scene from their native Oregon three years ago, and have since recorded their new album due Friday January 30, 2026, Not Here Not Gone. It arrives via Suicide Squeeze Records.

Now, the band have released the final single, “Fade.” It “pulls from dissociative feelings surrounding a breakup” and is a little softer than some of the other tracks on the album.

On the track, vocalist and guitarist Sunny Faris shares:

‘Fade’ is a song that is a true stamp in time. It was written during a time of deep confusion and loneliness and is an ode to the big and deep waves of emotion we all experience when our relationships come to an end, they shift or they express something unexpected within it. The sample at the end of this song was taken in our neighborhood in Los Angeles and is an ode to our neighbors and this city that we love.

Not Here Not Gone was recorded at Sonic Ranch outside of El Paso TX by Sonny Diperri (Narrow Head, DIIV, Emma Ruth Rundle), allowing the band to isolate themselves in a place where they could focus exclusively on their art. Suicide Squeeze Records is releasing Blackwater Holylight’s Not Here Not Gone to the world on Limited Edition Deluxe LP, standard LP, and CD.
