Indie/Folk band The Lone Bellow have released their new single “I Did It For Love” along with an official video. The track is the latest off their forthcoming album, What a Time to be Alive, due out February 13th, 2026. “I Did It For Love” is an anthemic song celebrating “the rewards of a lifelong relationship.”

Singer/guitarist Zach Williams explains:

I met my wife when we were 12 years old, and we were friends for years until college, when we started dating. We got married soon after, and here we are all these years later, still as crazy about each other as ever. It’s a wild thing to hold onto that same feeling about a person for decades.

Recorded in Muscle Shoals and written/recorded collaboratively for the first time with the band’s full touring ensemble, What a Time to be Alive marks a new chapter for the Nashville by-way-of-Brooklyn group. The songs on the album include “ruminations of innocence, loss, and the mysteries of love.”

The Lone Bellow will hit the road next month for the first leg of their nationwide headline tour supporting the new album. The dates include stops in Pittsburgh, Chicago, Louisville, Iowa City, and Madison, with more to be announced soon.
