Italy-based Punk/Emo band Jaguero have returned with double single “Hold Me Close / Monday,” which offers a look into the emotional landscape of their upcoming debut album, Make Me Feel Alive Again, due April 10, 2026 via Anchors Aweigh Records.
The release shows off “two contrasting but complementary forces” that are part of Jaguero’s sound: “urgency and vulnerability, catharsis and reflection.”
“Hold Me Close” delves into “the pressure of a society obsessed with achievement and constant performance.” It “pushes back against narrow definitions of success” looking instead for “human connection and emotional honesty.”
On the other side, “Monday” inhabits a more “intimate space.” The song explores “commitment, exhaustion, and the quiet resilience required to show up for the people who matter most.”
Formed in 2021, Jaguero is a Punk/Emo band from Vicenza, Italy featuring members of Slander, Regarde, and La Fortuna. Following the release of their EPs Worst Weekend Ever (2022) and New Love (2023), produced by Maurizio Baggio at La Distilleria and released via Epidemic Records, the band gained momentum with festival appearances and international shows. Those early releases were later compiled into a limited-edition self-titled vinyl.
With their debut full-length album, Jaguero blend Punk, Grunge, and melodic hooks while staying rooted in the DIY spirit.
