Thy Catafalque has operated over the past two decades in the hands of Hungarian mastermind Tamás Kátai but has more recently turned from just a studio project into a live act. Their latest albu, XII: A gyönyörű álmok ezután jönnek (The Beautiful Dreams Are Yet to Come), is out now on Season of Mist. 

Having played at Hellfest, Rockstadt Extreme, Alcatraz and other European festivals, Thy Catafalque are now embarking on their second headlining tour of Europe. The tour starts in Hungary on March 14 with two special performances of their eighth album, Geometria. It ends in August with appearances at Burn Fest Open Air and Brutal Assault Festival.  

Just ahead of that tour, Thy Catafalque have released the full video of last year’s sold-out performance at Hungary’s underground venue, Dürer Kert.  

Kátai says of the upcoming tour:
