Boston singer/songwriter Sam Bergquist will be releasing new album, Devils & Doves, on March 13th, 2026. The new collection is wide-ranging and, while holding onto warmth, tends to “poke at the contradictions of being human.”

As Bergquist says, he writes:

…topical songs with a little levity—satire’s always felt like the best way to shine a light on the heavy stuff.

One track with a live performance available is “Envy Blues”, which is about “letting go of comparison and settling into the pocket.”

Bergquist sees the album as “a wide-open musical map.”

He says:

This album is a reflection of my interest in all kinds of music, and I was lucky enough to have some wonderful musicians help me fold those influences into the sound.
