Sabyn’s ‘Long Live’ Is Fuelled By Possibility

Artist, writer, and Producer Sabyn has announced the digital release of Long Live via Owepar Records. The term “long live” is inspired by “anything that fuels a person’s sense of possibility—dreams, passions.”

Sabyn is a member of the Owens/Parton family and is the nephew of Dolly Parton and Floyd Parton, and the son of their brother Randy Parton.

Long Live has been described as “a major turning point” in Sabyn’s as he enters a new chapter based on personal development.

Sabyn’s identity is rooted in both Nashville and Los Angeles, a duality that helped shape the sound of Long Live. His songs carry his Southern heritage alongside the genre-blending influence of West Coast culture.

Sabyn’s personal recovery journey is a major inspiration “that informs every facet of his life and artistry.” While Long Live is not a recovery-themed album, “the stability and purpose he’s found through that work are woven throughout.”

Helping others who face similar struggles has become one of the most meaningful aspects of his life while serving as CEO of The Bridge to Recovery, a trauma and codependency treatment center located in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

The album’s title track was the first song created and set the tone for the entire project. Influenced by modern Country-Hip Hop hybrids, Sabyn delivers his own interpretation of the style. Created in collaboration with longtime partner Jake Angel, the track laid the creative foundation for the remaining songs.

With Long Live, Sabyn offers “a declaration of longevity, purpose, and the unshakable will to keep going.”
