Electronic music group Infected Mushroom have released the single and video “LA Beast” via Monstercat. It’s a 10-minute “journey between the genres of heavy metal, rock, psytrance, and some French techno.” The track is a joint effort with the duo’s collaborator Bliss.

Infected Mushroom (Amit “Duvdev” Duvdevani and Erez Eisen) says about the single:

This is the first time that Infected Mushroom and Bliss managed to sit in the same studio together to collaborate on a track, since all our previous collaborations have been done online. That’s why the first original name for this track was ‘LA Bliss’, due to his visit to our studio.

Bliss says:

I had a gig in LA [at] Dreamstate, and took the opportunity to stay a few days and make some music with Erez and Duvdev. We had a good session for a few days. [I’m] not sure how we came about the lyric “LA Beast”… if I remember correctly Duvdev grabbed the mic and that was the first thing he sang besides the ad libs. This time, we tried to make a clean track with some 80s spice and an emotional anti climax ending.

“LA Beast” follows “What You Know You Know You Know”and “Lightweight” in Infected Mushroom’s latest slate of singles. These three tracks will feature on IM30, a project that serves to celebrate three decades of Infected Mushroom, set for release January 30, 2026.
