UK Deathcore outfit Bound In Fear have released their new single/video, “Chasm”, via Unique Leader Records. It speaks to a journey into self-awareness that can be frightening, but necessary.

Vocalist Ben Mason comments:

‘Chasm’ is a huge leap forward for us, blending new elements with our core sound. It’s a natural progression, pushing boundaries while staying true to who we are.

Lyrically, it’s a reflection of my journey from the struggles we’ve faced to learning how to live with them. It’s about the unpredictability of life and accepting that sometimes you need to face your demons to truly understand yourself.

Since emerging in 2016, Bound In Fear has released their Regicide EP and full-length album The Hand of Violence (2019). This was followed by 2021’s Eternal EP, and sophomore album Penance the same year. Then, band spent three years “forging their new era in the shadows,” returning with the single “Sentenced” in 2024. “Chasm” now introduces what they have coming up in terms of sound and direction.
