Americana/Folk duo The Lowest Pair will be returning on January 23rd, 2026 with Always As Young As We’ll Ever Be, their first studio album in six years. Produced by Tucker Martine (The Decemberists, My Morning Jacket, Neko Case), Always As Young As We’ll Ever Be finds Kendl Winter and Palmer T. Lee (aka The Lowest Pair) expanding their sonic palette while retaining minimalism. The track “Give It All Away” is out now, and “reflects on the complexities between hanging on and letting go, and the desire for renewal.”
Always As Young As We’ll Ever Be takes on life’s problems and “sits with them” to “find the wonder in uncertainty and grace in imperfection.” Each song serves “as a different stage in the shedding of old skins.”
The Lowest Pair’s new album sets out to “remind us that love, grief, joy, disappointment, failure and renewal are all part of the same beautiful cycle, one that affects us all but one that also interconnects us all.”

The Lowest Pair recently announced a European Tour in January and February 2026. Stay tuned for U.S. dates
