Naarm/Melbourne trio Acopia have return with their new single, “Real Life”, a glimpse into their upcoming full-length album, Blush Response, set for release September 12, 2025, via independent label Scenic Route. To celebrate the release, they are set to hit the road for a UK/EU tour in September.

The track came to life in a rooftop studio tucked inside a mostly abandoned office building in South Yarra. It’s a “meditation on obsessive love, emotional fatigue, and the inertia of patterns we can’t quite break.”

Their forthcoming album, Blush Response, explores “the weight of unresolved feelings, communication breakdowns, and the tension between fragility and resilience.”

Formed in 2018 by Kate Durman, Lachlan McGeehan, and Morgan Wright, Acopia began with “a bare-bones ethos: sparse, slow, and stripped back.” Over the years, they’ve evolved into “a more fluid, instinct-driven project: open to mood, texture, and unexpected vulnerability.”

Acopia’s live sets have taken them from support slots with Tirzah and Bar Italia to major appearances at Golden Plains, Rising, and NTS Naarm, culminating in a sold-out headline show at London’s Lexington.
