Alaina Stacey Completes Her 3-EP Series With ‘Dusk’ Conveying Uncertainty And Hope

Singer/songwriter Alaina Stacey has released a new EP titled Dusk which reflects on the time of day when you might feel “Regret about what could have been, uncertainty about the choices ahead, and hope for what tomorrow will bring.”

As the final installment of Stacey’s three-EP series, preceded by 2023’s Dawn and 2024’s Day, the latest collection follows its own separate mood.

Stacy says:

These are songs that I’ve written over the last decade. They don’t all make sense on the same album. Instead, I like to imagine them reflecting different sonic and emotional moments in my life.

Stacey previously toured and recorded with Americana group Maybe April. Now working under her own name, her solo work fuses her love of Country, Americana, Rock, Pop, Folk, and standards.

Recorded and produced by Evan Redwine in Nashville and Brian Deck in Chicago, Stacey’s EP Dusk highlights “the uneasy feeling of uncertainty in a new day that can also bring hope of springing out of the paralysis of choice into action.”
