Country and Roots music artist guitarist Rockie Lynne will be the focus of new concert film Rockie Lynne: Live From The Sharon, premiering April 18th, 2025 on Amazon Prime. Filmed live at The Sharon L. Morse Performing Arts Center in Lady Lake, Florida, the performance captures Rockie Lynne and his band performing ballads and Roots Rock.
Directed by Mike Scott Bogdonoff, Live From The Sharon also features Lynne’s storytelling. Tracks include “My Father’s Guitar,” “Distant Tomorrow,” and “Never Say Goodbye,” among others.
Lynne has released a new single and music video for “That’s Where Songs Come From,” one of the tracks featured in the concert film.
Live From The Sharon follows closely after Rockie Lynne: Where I Belong, Lynne’s documentary which premiered on Amazon Prime earlier this spring and is also now airing on PBS. That film traces his life story: from being abandoned as an infant at the doors of Barium Springs Home for Children, to finding his adoptive family in North Carolina, to an emotional reunion with his biological father, uncovering a shared musical bond and the astonishing fact that both had served in the 82nd Airborne Division of the U.S. Army.
Rockie Lynne says:
My journey’s been anything but typical. Love and forgiveness is the way to get through life. It helps ensure your past won’t affect your future, and that’s a big part of my story. Another part, I think, is perseverance—if you have a dream like I did, you have to keep after it and find a way to make it happen.
