Following their Bionic Swarm debut album (2021) and their EP The Silent Call (2023), Dutch futuristic Metal band Cryptosis have returned with a sophomore album titled Celestial Death. It is set for release on March 7th, 2025 via Century Media Records. The song and video for “Faceless Matter” is out now. The video was Produced by the film company F/53.
Cryptosis comment as follows about the track:
With “Faceless Matter”, we‘re opening the new album “Celestial Death”. The song dives into a future where individuality fades, and people become part of one collective mind, haunted by the loss of self. This track brings a darker, heavier, and more symphonic sound. Welcome to the new era of Cryptosis.
The new album was recorded by Olaf Skoreng at Tom Meier and Studio Moon Music between April and August 2024, and mixed by Fredrik Folkare at Chrome Studios (Unleashed, Necrophobic, Hellbutcher) in Sweden. It was mastered by Tony Lindgren at Fascination Studios (Arch Enemy, Borknagar, Amorphis) in Sweden and once more comes with artwork by Eliran Kantor (Kreator, Testament, My Dying Bride).
Celestial Death will be made available as Ltd. CD Digipak edition in its first pressing, and as a Gatefold LP on 180g vinyl (Unlimited black vinyl and a Limited deep blood red vinyl in 300x copies, available from cmdistro.de, various other retailers, and from the band directly) and as digital album.
