Garage Rock band The Spyrals have just released their fifth studio album, Retrograde. The album’s tracks encompass themes of “isolation, heartache, and self-assurance” and are influenced by Garage Rock, Psychedelia, and Alternative Rock and Roll. The mysterious video for the track “Dream Believin’” is also out now.

Recorded at Station House Studios with the help of Mark Rains, Production for the album began in January of 2024. Purposely focusing on the band’s live sound, the tracks channel some aspects of the chaotic state of the world.

Forming in 2009 in San Francisco, The Spyrals are steered by Jeff Lewis, and the current roster of the band includes Georgia Feroce and Dash Borinstein on keys and drums, respectively.

After self-recording multiple albums in practice studios and garages, when the band entered Station House studio in Echo Park, Los Angeles, they were coming out of months of jamming.
