The Happys Collaborate With Sublime’s Eric Wilson For “She Found Love”

Bay Area band The Happys have released their latest single, “She Found Love,” recorded at Sublime’s studio in San Diego with Sublime’s Eric Wilson on vocals.

Front man Nick Petty says:

“She Found Love,” is a song that reflects on that special someone you had love for, moving forward in life, and finding new love. It’s nostalgia of the good times spent with the one you carried loved for, and having to come to terms with their new life alongside someone else. I wrote it about an unhinged character, as I can become often, and feel I resonate with. For this character, it’s a significant realization to accept someone they care for and miss so much, moving onto a new life.

Daniel Lonner, who is also the lead singer of the band Spray Allen, recorded the song at Eric Wilson of Sublime’s, residence and studio in San Diego, CA.

The band has shared stages with acts such as Sublime with Rome, Hobo Johnson, Jakob Nowell, Spray Allen, Suicidal Tendencies, WILLIS, Merciful Fate, and Pennywise, among others. Their discography includes two full-length albums, Trippin and ADHD, and an EP titled Bipolar.

Currently, The Happys are working on a new album with Producers Brian Rosemeyer and Jack Endino, known for their work with Nirvana, Soundgarden, and Sonic Youth. Some of the new material was recorded at Eric Wilson’s home studio in Bonsall, CA, with the full album expected to release in Spring 2025.
