The Devlins have released new single, “Slipping Through Your Hands,” from their upcoming album, All The Days, which arrives October 4, 2024.
Colin Devlin describes “Slipping Through Your Hands” as:
An inner dialogue about time passing, looking back and reconnecting to who you once were and where you came from, through the lens of the present.
It feels like a movie to me with the atmospheric minor bass riff and drums setting the scene for the 90 seconds or so, before it opens into the big chorus. It’s one of the strongest songs from the new Devlins record and we hope old and new fans alike will gravitate towards it both musically and lyrically.
All The Days marks the band’s first full-length project almost a decade after their album, Waves. All The Days brings together the classic lineup of brothers Colin (vocals, guitar, piano) and Peter Devlin (bass), drummer Guy Rickarby and guitarist Mark Murphy, with producer Rob Kirwan (Hozier, PJ Harvey, Depeche Mode) at the helm.
The quartet will play a hometown live show at Whelans in Dublin, Ireland on October 24, 2024.
