Country artist Alli Walker made an appearance this past weekend at the Churchill Park Music Festival in Canada, where she had the honor of opening for Shania Twain. The festival is known for its eclectic lineup.

After opening for Twain, Walker was invited back on stage during the headlining set to showcase an unexpected moment. Twain took the opportunity to explore a different facet of Walker’s skillset by joining her in an onstage bagpipe lesson.

Walker, a skilled and accomplished bagpiper, added a distinctive touch to the evening’s show. A live play video has been released.

Nashville-based artist Lindsay Ell, who is currently on tour with Shania Twain as her guitarist, also joined the duo for an impromptu rendition of Walker’s song “The Whiskey’s Gone.” The performance featured Walker’s bagpipe skills alongside Ell and Twain’s vocals.

Walker was recently nominated for CCMA Female Artist of the Year. Walker has released singles such as “Nashville,” “I Like Big Trucks” and “Creek.”
