Futurebirds Are Inspired By Change For “Movin’ On”

Eclectic Rock band Futurebirds have released new album Easy Company via Dualtone. The album features four songs apiece from each of the frontmen and singer/ songwriters Daniel Womack, Thomas Johnson, and Carter King, along with founding member Brannen Miles and band members Kiffy Myers, Spencer Thomas, and Tom Myers. The single and video for “Movin’ On” is also out now.

Daniel “Womz” Womack of Futurebirds says about “Movin’ On”:

Long story short – ‘Movin’ On’ was a beast to finish! It started off as a riff and a mumble track but kinda shot me into a downward spiral during the recording. I just couldn’t finish the lyrics among other things. But one day after months of sitting with it, the dollar store line just kinda fell out and just like that I could see the whole song in my head. The rest followed soon after. I was very stoked! I think it is inspired by the amount of change we’ve experienced in the band and personally over the last couple of years. You can always feel change happening and I think any sort of evolution or growth is accompanied with some sort of sacrifice, or letting go of something mentally or physically holding you back. This song is about finding the next thing, and finding it with enthusiasm.
