Oska’s “Like A Song” Describes A Feeling of Lightness After Turbulence

Indie-Pop singer/songwriter Oska has returned with new single “Like A Song,” giving fans a preview of her upcoming sophomore full-length album due out later this year via Nettwerk. The song “delves into themes of clarity and security” emerging from a period of “turbulence and discomfort.”

She explains:

I’m describing feeling safe, sure, and light again in what feels like forever – light as a feather, as a child, just like a song.

The Vienna-based artist makes her U.S. debut this week, before heading to Austin for SXSW, followed by a quick hop over to Dallas for an appearance at the New New Fest. She then returns to Europe for more headline shows, festival appearances and four very special nights opening for Coldplay in her home city alongside Maggie Rogers this summer.

Her 2022 album, My World, My Love, Paris, told “tales of her family life and the experience of being a young person growing up in the world.” She signed to Nettwerk in 2020 and released her debut EP Honeymoon Phase.
