All The Tracks On Leslie Evers ‘Bound For Land’ Share A Common Theme Of Love

Contemporary Folk artist Leslie Evers will be releasing her second album, Bound for Land, on February 2, 2024, via Cumulus Records, and the single “Almost in Love,” is out now. Evers plays solo acoustic guitar and handles vocals on the track which is a modern-day love song with traditional elements.

‘Evers penned 10 of the 11 tracks on Bound For Land, and while the tracks are eclectic, they share a “common theme of love in its diverse forms.”

The album’s recording and mixing process were helmed by Grammy award-winning engineer Alex Venguer (Sting, John Legend, Lady Gaga, The Punch Brothers, I’m With Her,Aretha Franklin). Recorded, mixed, and mastered at the 2nd Story Sound in New York City, the project was engineered by Grammy winner Oscar Zambrano at Zampol Productions.

Veteran composer/bandleader Ed Johnson (The Pointer Sisters and Tuck & Patti) spearheaded the album’s production. The album also features collaborations with guitarist Rick Ruskin and vocalist/banjo player Joe Newberry. Folk singer/songwriter/producer Cliff Eberhardt added final touches on the song arrangements.
