The music documentary film Yoshiki: Under The Sky features live performances from composer and Rock artist Yoshiki alongside a host of major artists. The documentary is directed by Yoshiki, who leads the Rock bands X Japan and The Last Rockstars.

The film project was conceived during the pandemic period and Yoshiki gathered this collection of artists for an emotional journey. Some of the project features an “interaction with the husband of a terminally ill fan and a celebration of voices joined from across international borders.”

A new excerpt has been released that features Yoshiki performing “Closer” with The Chainsmokers.

The film includes live performances by The Chainsmokers (USA), St. Vincent (USA), Sarah Brightman (England), Scorpions (Germany), HYDE (Japan), SUGIZO (Japan), SixTONES (Japan), Jane Zhang (China), Lindsey Stirling (USA), Nicole Scherzinger (USA), and more.
